Job Description
● Manage Data & Engineering Team (max 10 members)
● Responsible for big data collection (data spiders), big data storage and data ETL.
● Responsible for optimizing Latency and Throughput of the company's internal/external
production.
● Stakeholders responsibility of E-commerce Big Data Platform for Metric.vn (Collect, Storage,
Process & Analytics, ETL platform technology. Data size: +1TB daily incremental).
● Coordinate with stakeholders (PO, Sale, Marketing) to clarify product features and plans.
● Report to Head of Product (mainly) and CEO.
● Responsible for architecture, system design, develop, deploy and maintain company production
and services.
Job Requirements
● Previous working experience as a CTO/ Head of Engineering for 3+ years.
● Strong technical & algorithms background and experience in 5+ years large-scale big-data systems.
● Be an expert in the data domain (Big data Collect, Big Data Engineering, DevOps, Security, Web Backend) and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
● Long term passion of collecting, storage and organizing data and optimizing system performance.
● Strong familiarity with most of PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, Clickhouse, FastAPI, Key-value DB,
Kafka, Docker (preferred language: Python, Java, Go).
● Extremely patient and enjoyable on hard-core technical problems solving like security bypass,
reversed engineering, core/lib hacking, principle engineering.
● Experience with machine learning is preferred but not required.
● Teamwork & ownership mindset, good communication and training skills, self-motivation,
accepting challenges.
