Job Description
1)Creates client-visit itinerary for the next week and submits this the
Friday before to BM.
2) Effectively Manage assigned team, maximize sales, and expand
ingredient offerings, not only to assigned customers but new customers
developed by her/his team.
3) Visit clients to enhance service, increase sales as well as margin of
repeated orders and identify new opportunities of new businesses,
ingredients and customers.
4) Works with the BM, Technical team and Group Sales Coordinator, to prepare, submit, and monitor quotations and samples, it’s proper follow up and feedback
5) Manages Food Sales Coordinator to ensure all emails & documents sent to concerned suppliers and customers are accurate and on time.
6) Supervises and coaches Food Sales Coordinator to make sure that all orders are being followed up closely as well as secure repeat orders.
7) Prepares Weekly Summary Report, which includes client inquiries, sales,and market updates (i.e. client-wise, supplier-wise, product-wise) to facilitate the development of selling strategies of her team.
8) Assists clients in product innovations proactively to increase businessesand turnover. This is achieved by providing frequent updates from thetechnical team, her/his knowledge and market trends.
9) Handles and addresses problems to the BM which may arise in the
course of client’s transaction i.e. shipment delays, etc.
10) Assists the Credit & Collection Department in payment monitoring of assigned clients.
11) Monitors all existing businesses, the statuses of L/C deadlines,shipments, or any issue pertaining to a client’s order.
12) Provides creative ideas and suggestions for better sales productivity,client coverage, and time management in a weekly monthly andquarterly basis.
13) Produces an annual Sales Forecast of his/her own clients as well as the ones of his /her subordinates.
14) Reports weekly the sales performance of the team to the BM as wellas replies to accounting team reports about strategies to increase the weekly revenue and secure & recover lost orders
15) Find, propose and source competent suppliers for the Food Industry incooperation with Technical team and BM. Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the BM, or designate.
Job Requirements
1) Graduate of BS in Food Chemist/ Food Technologist, or similar course.
2) Productive sales experience in similar field of not less than five (5) years, with strong inclination towards sales, negotiation, persuasion, objection handling, new business development and client contact.
3) High proficiency in both written and oral English.
4) Customer-focused, results-oriented, team worker, solutions-driven.
5) Meticulous, energetic, systematic, self-driven, and able to work with minimum supervision.
6) Facility to report regularly to superiors without prodding.
7) Computer literate in Windows Software and CRM. 8) Capability/potential for acquiring higher responsibilities
