Job Description

I. Purpose / Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the business operation of all global product portfolio with the exception ofIV Drugs AA and Colloids:
  • Entrepreneurial drive and initiative to achieve business budgets of the responsible products in different sales channels independently.
  • Building of high performance and compliance pharma sales and marketing team for the responsible products and sales channels
  • Development of state-of-the art marketing plans for product groups, PN, EN, Oncology, RPG.
  • Enforce strict compliance with company code of conduct and ethical standards for the marketing and sales teams.

 

II. Major Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Job holder is required to fully perform all of the below mentioned tasks timely, correctly and completely:

Sales and Marketing functions of EN, PN, RPG, Oncology

  • Delivery of financial performance in line with company yearly budget including the achievement of target profit, Sales volume and market share.
  • Set up the expectation and the rewards structure for a successful sales team
  • Effective leading the sales team to execute the marketing strategies/activities effectively
  • Motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed the sales objectives of its business units.
  • Discipline the sales teams for non-compliance, non-performing and non-following instructions, policies, procedures and systems
  • Identify and propose relevant sub-distribution systems in supporting the tender bidding processes
  • The recruitment and selection right sales employees that ensures the team structure and capability which will meet the demand of current and future success of individual product groups
  • Play a key role in the cross functional agenda, driving forward improved ways of working with other departments to improve operational efficiencies
  • Ensure the business activities are conducted in compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory obligations and the company guidelines and code of conduct.

Sales and Marketing functions of products from global portfolio with exception of IV Drugs AA and Colloids:

  • Lead marketing team to analyze market, customers and competition for PN, EN, RPG, Oncology, in order to design and develop an effective marketing plans from which it provides strong marketing supports for the sales team to promote the product successfully
  • Study market and request for the registration of new products from the pipelines
  • Set up and manage the sales teams to achieve the yearly sales targets.
  • Prepare and launch new products successfully
  • Capture identified growth opportunity in the market by evaluating it and supporting it with sales forecasts, proposed ASP and market share.
  • In-license strategic products
  • Allocate and optimize budget/ resources for individual product groups
  • Lead training and development to ensure internal excellence and succession planning
  • Drive financial ROI and effectiveness across brand portfolio
  • Initiate and responsible to re-structure the department to be a productive and efficient
  • Discipline marketing team for non-compliance, non-ethical and non-professional activities and events
  • Set Up and develop KOLs and Advisory Board
  • Other tasks assigned by General Manager.

Job Requirements

  • MBA, major in Sales & Marketing
  • Pharmacist or Medical Doctor
  • Minimum 10 years marketing and sales management experience at multi-national pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Companies
  • 2 years’ experience at director level or 5 years experiences as marketing manager/marketing and sales manager in multi-national pharmaceutical/Medical Devices company
  • Proven successful business track record
  • Must be able to travel 80% of the time.
  • Experience of leading big sales and marketing teams with more than 60 head counts
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership competency
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands-on approach
