Job Description
- Analyzes historical volume trends and adjusts the forecasting model
- Acts as the super user of the ERP system within the unit
- Supports and optimizes planning and controlling processes to assist operations in achieving KPI targets
- Revises medium term Master Production Schedule ensuring effective labor and material planning Partners with operations leaders to plan manpower adjustments in a highly seasonal business
- Liaises between suppliers, clients for all Planning & Forecasting activities.
- Acts as a change agent to support the operations in implementing production and material flow process changes to optimize productivity, and support new business implementation
- Provides training to unit end users as needed and assists in the creation and maintenance of related training materials.
- Generates, deploys, and maintains Master Production Schedules
- Maintains a Customer Matrix for Schedule & Product Cycle Change information availability
- Responsible for the Daily OPC Meeting including Forecasting Accuracy, Customer Changes, Data Management, Material Management for waste, yield, over portioning.
- Takes the ownership of cycle change key event schedule.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in planning, business administration, or equivalent number of years of experience.
- At least ten (10) years experience
- At least five (5) years experience in footwear, apparel or accessories in the same position
- Technically proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Access).
- Very good knowledge of lean manufacturing environments.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems and basic functionality
- Excellent In 04 English Skills: Listening-Speaking-Reading – Writing.
